Alessandro Piras with registered office in via Ciro Menotti 3/3, 16154 Genova VAT No. 02625510991 and Genoa Register of Companies No. 499887, (hereinafter "Piras Gioielli"), proprietor of the Internet website www.sardiniainlove. com (hereinafter, the "Website") as recipient of personal data processing of surfers who are registered on the Website (hereinafter, the "Users") provides below the privacy policy (hereinafter, the "Privacy Policy") pursuant to art. 13 of EU Regulation No. 2016/679, dated 27 April 2016 (hereinafter, the "Regulations" and/or "Applicable Regulations").
This Website and any services offered through this Website are reserved for people who are eighteen or over. Piras Gioielli does not therefore collect personal data relating to individuals under the age of 18. At the request of Users, Piras Gioielli shall promptly delete all personal data involuntarily collected and relating to individuals under the age of 18.
Piras Gioielli takes into the utmost consideration the right to privacy and protection of personal data of its Users. For any information in relation to this Privacy Policy, Users can contact Piras Gioielli at any time, in the following ways:

Piras Gioielli has not appointed a Data Protection Officer (RPD or DPO), as it is not required to designate such Officer in compliance with art. 37 of the Regulations.
1. Scope of Data Processing
Users' personal data will be lawfully processed by Piras Gioielli in accordance with art. 6 of the Regulations for the following purposes:
a) contractual obligations and supply of service, to allow surfing of the Website or to implement the General Conditions of the Website, which are accepted by the User upon registration or when purchasing on the Website, and to fulfil the User's specific requests . User's data collected by Piras Gioielli for such purposes include: name, surname and email address, telephone number, shipping address (country, province, city, postcode, address), billing address (country, province, city, postcode, address, tax code / VAT), as well as any personal data the User may voluntarily publish. Unless the User gives Piras Gioielli a specific and optional consent to the processing of his/her data for the further purposes set out in the following paragraphs, the User's personal data will be used by Piras Gioielli for the exclusive purpose of ascertaining the User's identity, thus avoiding possible fraud or abuse, and for contacting the User solely for service reasons - for example, to send notifications regarding the services offered on the Website relating to both third party products and Piras Gioielli products. Without prejudice to what is provided for elsewhere in this Privacy Policy, under no circumstance Piras Gioielli will make the User' personal data accessible to other Users and/or third parties.
b) administrative-accounting purposes, or to carry out activities of an organizational, administrative, financial and accounting nature, such as in-house organizational activities and activities functional to the fulfilment of contract and pre-contract obligations;
c) legal obligations, or to fulfil obligations provided for by law, by an Authority, by regulations or by any applicable European legislation.
Conferral of personal data for the processing purposes indicated above is optional but necessary. Should the User fail to provide its personal data, he/she will not be able to navigate the website, register on the Website and use the services offered by Piras Gioielli through its Website.
The required personal data for the pursuit of the processing purposes described in this paragraph 1 are indicated with an asterisk on the Website registration form.
2. Further processing purposes: marketing and newsletters
With the free and optional consent of the User, some of the User's personal data - i.e. name, surname, e-mail address, telephone number and delivery address - may be processed by Piras Gioielli also for marketing purposes (such as, for example, sending advertising material, direct sales, commercial communication, sending newsletters containing information on news concerning the sector related to the activities of Piras Gioielli).
If consent is refused, pursue of the purposes referred to in paragraph 1 will not be affected in any way.
In case of consent, the same can be revoked at any time, by filing a request to Piras Gioielli as indicated in paragraph 6 below. The User can also easily refuse to receive further promotional communications via email by clicking on the appropriate link for revocation of consent, which is found in every promotional email. After revocation of consent, Piras Gioielli will send an email to confirm such revocation of consent. If the User wishes to revoke its consent to receiving promotional communications by phone, while continuing to receive promotional communications by email, or vice versa, he/she shall file a request to Piras Gioielli as indicated in paragraph 6 below.
After filing its refusal to receive promotional communications via email, for technical and operational reasons (for example, the creation of contact lists already completed shortly before Piras Gioielli received the refusal) the User may continue to receive some additional promotional messages. Should the User continue to receive promotional messages after 24 hours from filing its refusal, he/she shall report the problem to Sardinia in Love, using the contacts reported in paragraph 6 below.
3.Further Processing Purposes: Profiling
With the User's free and optional consent, the User's personal data (i.e. personal data and contact details, and information relating to services in which the User has expressed an interest) may be processed by Piras Gioielli also for profiling purposes, i.e. to reconstruct the User's tastes and consumption habits, identifying the consumer profile, in order to be able to send the User commercial offers consistent with the identified profile.
If consent is refused, the possibility to register on the Website and use the services offered by Piras Gioielli will not be affected in any way.
In case of consent, the User can revoke the same at any time, by filing a request to Piras Gioielli as indicated in paragraph 6 below.
4. Processing Methods and Data Retention time
Piras Gioielli will process Users' personal data using manual and computerized tools, according to a logic strictly related to the preset purposes and, in any case, so as to ensure data security and confidentiality.
The personal data of Website Users will be kept for the time strictly necessary to fulfil the primary purposes described in paragraph 1 above, or as necessary for the protection of the interests of both Users and Piras Gioielli.
In the case referred to in paragraphs 2 and 3 above, Users' personal data will be kept for the time strictly necessary to fulfil the reported purposes and, in any case, for no longer than twenty-four (24) months.
5. Scope of Communication and Dissemination of Data
Employees and/or collaborators of Sardinia in Love who manage the Website may be informed on the Users' personal data. These persons, who are formally appointed by Piras Gioielli as "Data Processors", will process Users' data exclusively for the purposes reported in this Privacy Policy and in compliance with the provisions of the Applicable Regulations.
The Users' personal data may also be disclosed to third parties who may process personal data on behalf of Piras Gioielli as "External Data Processors", such as, by way of example, providers of IT and logistics services functional to the operation of the Website, providers of outsourcing or cloud computing services, professionals and consultants, forwarding agents and the like.
The following companies will also be External Data Processors of the Users' personal data:
• BRT S.p.a. Foro Buonaparte, 67 - 20121 Milan - Italy for shipments.
• DHL EXPRESS ITALY S.r.l. Via Lombardia 2A - 20068 Peschiera Borromeo (MI) - Italy for shipments.
Users are entitled to obtain a list of any data processors appointed by Piras Gioielli, by filing a request to Piras Gioielli as reported in paragraph 6 below.
6. Rights of Interested Parties
Users may exercise the rights granted to them by Applicable Regulations, by contacting Piras Gioiellias follows:

According to the Applicable Regulations, Piras Gioielli informs that Users are entitled to obtain the following data:
(i) origin of personal data;
(ii) processing purposes and methods;
(iii) logic applied in case of processing with the aid of electronic instruments;
(iv) identification details of Sardinia in Love and its managers;
(v) entities or categories of entities to whom personal data may be communicated or who may be informed on said data in their capacity of data processors or persons in charge of processing.
Moreover, Users have the right to obtain:
(a) access, updating, rectification or, if stakeholders, integration of data;
b) erasure, transformation into anonymous form or blocking of unlawfully processed data , including data whose retention is unnecessary for the purposes for which data was collected or subsequently processed;
c) certification that the operations as per letters a) and b) have been notified, together with their content, to the entities to which data were communicated or disseminated, unless this requirement proves to be impossible or involves a clearly disproportionate effort with respect to the right being protected.
In addition, Users have:
a) the right to withdraw their consent at any time, if the processing is based on their consent;
b) the right to data portability (the right to receive all personal data concerning them in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format), the right to restrict personal data processing and the right to erasure ("right to be forgotten");
c) the right to object:
i) fully or partially, for legitimate reasons, to the processing of Users' personal data, even if pertinent to the purpose of collection;
ii) fully or partially, to the processing of personal data concerning the User, for the purpose of sending advertising material or direct selling or for carrying out market research or for commercial communication;
iii) at any time, if personal data are processed for direct marketing purposes, and processing of Users' data is carried out for this purpose, including profiling to the extent to which it is related to such direct marketing;
d) the right to lodge a complaint with a Supervisory Authority (in the Member State where they habitually reside, in the Member State where they work or in the Member State where the alleged violation has occurred), if they believe that the processing concerning them violates the Regulations. The Italian Supervisory Authority is the Guarantor for the protection of personal data (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali), based in Piazza di Monte Citorio n. 121, 00186 - Rome (http://www.garanteprivacy.it/).
7. Registration via 'Connect with Facebook'
Piras Gioielli informs that Users registered on Facebook can register on the Website through the service "Connect with Facebook" or equivalent, when this option is available on the Website. The data that may be communicated by Facebook to Piras Gioielli through the 'Connect with Facebook' service are the following: name, surname, profile picture, e-mail address where the User can be contacted by Facebook (with 'real' address or address in the domain proxymail.facebook.com), address and date of birth. Piras Gioielli will process such data exclusively for the purposes reported herein, in compliance with the consent given by the User each time. By subscribing to the "Connect with Facebook" service and clicking on the "Allow" button, the User agrees that the above mentioned data will be transferred from the Facebook platform to Piras Gioielli. Piras Gioielli will use such data to facilitate the registration procedure. On the User's registration form, fields will be prefilled with the data provided by Facebook. Users who use the Facebook Connect service will be able to access the Website with the credentials normally used to access Facebook. 8. Terms of Use for User Generated Content
Scope of application
By responding to #PirasGioielli and / or uploading content with the hashtag #PirasGioielli or other hashtags communicated each time by Piras Gioielli you recognize and acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms of Use for publication and use by Piras Gioielli of your content, such as photos, texts, videos, and other materials ("Content").
Piras Gioielli reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use without notice, by publishing their revised version. Consequently, we invite you to read again the terms of use whenever you give permission or authorization to publish your Content.
Content Licence
You hereby grant Piras Gioielli, which may avail itself of third parties (e.g. service providers, marketing and public relations agencies), a global, perpetual, free, non-exclusive, transferable, sublicensable license to use your Content.
Piras Gioielli may use and publish the Content on any communication channel, for example, but not limited to, its social network pages (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), its newsletters, and through any promotional and advertising material, both online and offline, belonging to Sardinia in Love.
Piras Gioielli may use, display, reproduce, distribute, transmit, create derivative works from, combine with other content, alter and/or modify your Content in any way, entirely at its own discretion, in compliance with the applicable law and without altering the content and meaning, so as to make such Content usable.
You hereby authorize, represent and warrant:
- that you are solely responsible for your Content
- that you are the owner of all rights in relation to your Content and/or have obtained the appropriate rights and permissions from any other person and/or entity managing or otherwise exercising any rights in relation to such Content
- that you are at least 18 years old
- that the use of your Content as described herein does not violate the rights, including but not limited to copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, privacy, publicity, moral, proprietary or other rights, of any other party, or any law, rule or regulation, and that the Content is not disparaging, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, abusive, indecent, threatening, harassing, offensive or otherwise unlawful.
You also hereby agree to provide release and exonerate Piras Gioielli from any liability in any way related to the use of your Content by Piras Gioielli. In no event shall Piras Gioielli be held liable for your Content, including any errors or omissions relating to the Content, or for any loss or damage of any kind suffered by the user in relation to the user's Content made available through any means on the Website.
Anyone may report to Piras Gioielli any Content deemed contrary to applicable law and/or the principles set out in this document by writing to info@sardiniainlove.com.
Piras Gioielli reserves the right not to use the Content for any reason and may always remove any Content if, in its sole discretion, is not in accordance with these Terms of Use.
Privacy
By posting the Content with any of the hashtags referred to in this document or otherwise provided by Piras Gioielli you agree that processing of your personal data, possibly provided as part of the Content, will be in compliance with the provisions of these Terms of Use, of the Privacy Policy and of the applicable laws on personal data protection.
